Along with Joseph, her husband of 32 years, Maria Isabella raised five children who are all now living very productive and rewarding adult lives. Maria also has three young grandchildren with whom she only converses in Italian. Maria’s global outlook stems from her dual citizenship in the U.S. and Italy, plus quadlingual fluency in Italian, Serbian, French, and English.

In addition to being a mother and grandmother, Maria Isabella is a published author and award-winning writer with over 30 years’ experience in the advertising, marketing, and publishing industries. That experience was built upon her studies at Cleveland State University where she received a bachelor’s degree with a dual concentration in Mass Media and Interpersonal Communication as well as a minor in International Marketing.
Focused on educating and enriching today’s youth, Maria Isabella possesses a substitute teacher’s license from Ohio’s State Board of Education and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI).
